[ENGLISH VERSION ONLY] Yarix APAC: New Cybersecurity Hub for the Asia-Pacific Region Launches in Bangkok

 

 

On September 9, Yarix APAC officially launched in Bangkok with an event held at the Cavallino Motors Ferrari Showroom. A joint venture between Var Group and CV Ventures, Yarix APAC brings to the city a new cybersecurity center designed to coordinate operations across the Asia-Pacific region.

 

At the core of the initiative is support for the Security Operations Center (SOC), which operates according to a “Follow the Sun” model, ensuring 24/7 incident monitoring and response. Bangkok was selected as a strategic hub thanks to its geographic location and time zone, enabling seamless operational continuity across teams in Asia, Europe, and North America while helping reduce the impact of night shifts on staff.

 

One of the project’s defining features is its commitment to a 100% local workforce, from analysts through to management. The Bangkok team has already demonstrated its ability to operate according to the same standards as the main European center and is already delivering security services to clients in Europe.

 

Supporting the analysts is Egyda, a proprietary AI solution used for initial screening and threat detection. By automating these first stages of analysis, Egyda allows specialists to focus their time and expertise on investigating the most complex cases.

 

Commenting on the strategic importance of the initiative, Fabrizio Saltalippi, International Business Leader at Var Group, said:

To support its growth in the region, Yarix APAC has already started building its local distribution network, signing agreements with two local partners, appointing distributors, and establishing a dedicated sales team in Thailand. The company has also launched a Thai-language website focused on incident response services.

 

And this is only the beginning. Further investments are planned over the coming years, with the goal of expanding the local team and establishing Bangkok as a regional hub for the continued growth of Yarix APAC’s services across Asia-Pacific.
